Meet our registered dietitian

Our registered dietitian has 12 years of experience, with an East meets West approach to nutrition across Chinese, Indian, Malay and Western cuisines, as well as vegan and vegetarian diets. She also has experience supporting clients managing Hashimoto’s.

That means advice grounded in clinical nutrition science, delivered by someone who understands the food you actually grew up with, from home-cooked soups and confinement food to hawker favourites and festive tables.

“Good nutrition advice should work with the food you grew up with, not against it. That’s the only kind that lasts.”

What East meets West means in practice

Science you trust. Food you’ll eat.

Science you can trust

Recommendations are based on current evidence about protein, blood sugar, heart health, bone health and weight management.

Food you’ll actually eat

Plans are built around rice, noodles, tofu, fish, soups and family-style meals, not imported diet foods that don’t fit your life.

Respect for tradition

Many women in Singapore grew up with ideas about heaty and cooling foods, herbal soups and foods for particular life stages. Our dietitian respects these traditions and helps you fit them alongside what the evidence shows.

Real family life

If you cook for a household, eat with in-laws or share dishes at most meals, your plan works with that rather than asking you to eat separately.

When a dietitian makes the difference

Medical nutrition, not just meal plans.

A registered dietitian is trained to support medical nutrition needs as well as everyday eating. This is especially valuable if you’re managing pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol or blood pressure, PCOS or menopause-related changes, digestive issues or food intolerances, or weight management alongside a health condition. For medical conditions, our dietitian works alongside your doctor’s care.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers.

What’s the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?

Dietitians are clinically trained to provide medical nutrition therapy, for example for diabetes or kidney disease. Nutritionists and nutrition coaches focus on everyday eating and habits. Our team includes both.

Will I have to give up foods from my culture?

No. The aim is to keep the foods that matter to you and adjust portions, combinations and frequency.

Can the dietitian help with my blood test results?

She can help you understand how food affects results such as blood sugar and cholesterol, working alongside your doctor.

Do I still get a personal trainer?

Yes. Your female personal trainer runs your live training sessions, while nutrition is guided by our dietitian.
